Our Men’s section will be the first to return to the pitch, with pre-season beginning on Wednesday, followed by our Women’s section starting their preparations on Thursday.

Pre-season is a key part of the season build-up, giving players the opportunity to get back into the rhythm of training, build fitness, develop skills, and prepare for the challenges ahead. It’s also a great chance for new and returning players to meet teammates and become part of the Gwent Hockey Club family.

Whether you’re an experienced player, returning after a break, or looking for a new club this season, we’d love to welcome you to join us.

The excitement will continue to build ahead of our annual Club Day on Saturday 5th September, where we’ll bring together our junior and senior sections for a celebration of everything that makes Gwent Hockey Club special.

Club Day is the perfect opportunity for players, families, supporters, and new members to come together, meet the wider club community, and get ready for the season ahead.

With teams across both junior and senior hockey, there’s a place for everyone at Gwent. We can’t wait to see familiar faces back on the pitch and welcome new members to the Orange Army.
