The countdown is on! Gwent Hockey Club is excited to welcome players, families, supporters and anyone interested in giving hockey a go to our annual Club Day on Saturday 5 September at Cwmbran Stadium.

Running from 10:30am until 4:00pm, Club Day is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with teammates, welcome new faces and get ready for another exciting hockey season.

Whether you're already part of the Orange Army, on the search for a new club or looking to pick up a hockey stick for the first time or again after several years, everyone is welcome.

Club Day Schedule

We've got sessions running throughout the day for all age groups and abilities.

New senior players

Thinking about returning to hockey or trying it for the first time? This session is designed especially for new senior players to meet the club, get on the pitch and discover what Gwent Hockey Club is all about.

2:00pm – 4:00pm
All senior players

Our senior members will round off the day with a chance to get back on the pitch together ahead of the new season.

More Than Just Hockey

Club Day is one of the highlights of the Gwent Hockey Club calendar. It's a chance to meet new teammates, catch up with old friends and celebrate everything that makes our club special.

As a family-friendly hockey club in South Wales, we're proud to bring together players of all ages, from our youngest juniors through to our senior and Masters players. Whether you're five or fifty, there's a place for you at Gwent Hockey Club.

The celebrations don't stop when the hockey finishes!

We'll be heading to The Crow's Nest, Cwmbran, after Club Day for a relaxed club social. Everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy a drink, share stories from the day and get to know fellow members off the pitch.
