Gwent Hockey Club offers competitive and social adult hockey in South East Wales, welcoming players of all abilities, from those completely new to the sport to experienced league and international players.

Our senior section consists of:

• Four men's teams
• Four women's teams
• Two mixed summer league teams

This allows players to enjoy hockey at a level that suits their ability, experience and ambitions, whether they are looking for competitive league hockey or simply want to get back into the sport.

Our men's teams compete in the West Hockey England Leagues, while our women's teams compete in the South Wales Women's Hockey League, representing Gwent Hockey Club in competitive league hockey across England and Wales. Both sections have also celebrated success in league and cup competitions in recent seasons.

Many of our senior players have represented Wales at both senior and Masters international level, with players regularly selected to compete in tournaments across the UK and Europe. Our Women's First Team has also proudly represented Wales on the European stage, competing in the European Club Championship II in the Czech Republic, Turkey and Croatia.

At Gwent Hockey Club, we believe hockey is about more than results. Our senior section combines competitive hockey with a friendly, supportive atmosphere where lifelong friendships are formed both on and off the pitch.
